This is a small scale anon-ftp site SOLELY for the transfer of geological and geophysical data to and from members of the Department. Steps will be taken against anyone found to be abusing this site. All transfers are logged. Warez uploads are illegal and will not be tolerated. All downloads should be placed in directory /pub. /pub will be periodically emptied so please try to ensure a quick turnover of data. Uploads from outwith the Department should be placed in /pub/incoming Files in there cannot be accessed from outwith the Department. Private uploads should be placed in /uploads where files created will ONLY be accessible by system administators.
